Volunteering

The Pride Week is the highlight of the local queer community with more than 10 main events and many smaller partner events. And this since 1999.

It offers unforgettable moments for many people, allows to experience queer culture, to promote queer visibility, to exchange knowledge, to offer a stage for young queer talents and above all offers safe spaces for those members of our community who need them most.

However, this also means a lot of work during a whole year, spread on only a few shoulders. Without the commitment of volunteers, none of these events would take place.

We are therefore happy about every helping hand!

Would you also like to get more involved to offer other people these opportunities? Then we would be very happy to hear from you.

How can you help?

Well, this can be done in many different ways: be it in the administrative area behind the scenes, as a graphic designer or photographer, in setting up and dismantling the individual events, as a volunteer during the events or as a multiplier when it comes to advertising our events.

Some types of volunteering are possible at a distance (e.g. support in planning), others require active help on site (set-up and dismantling, support during the event, etc.).

In any case, any help, be it just a few hours or over a longer period of time, is absolutely valuable to us.

If you are interested, we would love to hear from you:
